Victoria’s Best Set to Put on a Show at the 2022 Victorian SUP Surfing Titles

Published on 13/05/2022
This Saturday the 14th of May will see the 2022 Victorian SUP Surfing Titles being held, with event results going towards qualifying for the Australian SUP Titles to be run later in the year.

The surf is looking to be clean, with winds forecasted to come from the NW. However, the swell size is appearing to be less favourable. With this in mind, it is probable that the event will be re-located (from Point Impossible) to Clubbies along the 13th Beach stretch.

Divisions for the event include Open Men, Open Women, Over 40 Men, Over 50 Men, Over 60 Men, Open Women 10ft SUP, Open Men 10 ft SUP, Over 50 Womens, Over 40 Womens and Over 50 Men 10ft SUP.

“It will be awesome to see Victoria’s best put on a show to compete for qualification to the Australian SUP Titles,” said CEO Adam Robertson.

“The competition should be hotly contested by the quality field so we expect to see some fierce battles!”

In last year’s Open Men and Open Women divisions Matt Takle and Emma Webb came out on top and both will be looking to reclaim their title in this weekend’s competition.

The first call for the event will be at 7.15 am for a 7.30 am start on Saturday.
