Surfing Victoria in conjunction with our Surfing Australia recognise that Boardrider Clubs are the grassroots of Australian Surfing.
Our purpose is to support our Victorian Boardriders Clubs to enable them to lead and develop their members, establish good governance and practices and strengthen a surfing pathway from club level to the world stage.
Boardrider Clubs provide avenues into competitive surfing that teach the skills required to pursue a competitive career as well as introduce surfers to the support and friendship offered in a community club environment.
The Surfing Australia Boardrider Club System is supported by SportAUS and is recognised as the most advanced in the surfing world.
Bordrider Clubs are a vital link in the sport development pathway and Surfing Victoria along with Surfing Australia are committed to working with the clubs to ensure that the sport of surfing continues to grow and maintains its status as a truly iconic Australian pastime.
Why Affiliate with Surfing Australia?
Surfing Australia in partnership with Surfing Victoria are providing support in areas of Boardrider Club administration and member management.
Boardrider Clubs that affilaite with Surfing Australia gain access to the JustGO Membership Portal system. This can assist clubs with their administration needs in areas of Membership, Event Management and even Member Education and Training.
JustGO also provides a secure payment service and email communication management functions in a well-round Member Management platform that is intuitive and easy-to-use for both Club Administrators and Members.

Surfing Australia and Ministry of Shirts have formalised a partnership for our Boardriders Clubs, Surf Schools and State branches. Ministry of Shirts is one Australia’s biggest T-shirt printers and suppliers.
We are partnering to provide a seamless and easy ordering portal to provide access to best quality printed club apparel at heavily discounted rates for our clubs that are affiliated.

It has been identified that most clubs and schools utilise local sponsorships as the main revenue source to keep the club financial.
We have formulated a sponsorship sales kit that any club member can utilise in an approach to local businesses asking for support for your club..
