Round 2 of 2024/2025 Victorian Open Titles Cancelled Due to Forecasted Poor Surf

Published on 12/02/2025

The second round of the 2024/2025 Victorian Open Titles has been cancelled due to predicted strong winds and large swell this coming weekend.

Due to be held on the Mornington Peninsula, the event will be cancelled with the remaining event on the three part series to be the decider. The series rankings will now take into account the opening and final event in deciding state champions for 2025.

In the instance of a tie on the final rankings for state champion, a surf off will be held with the top two surfers at the conclusion of the final event on Phillip Island.

The series is the pathway event to the Rip Curl Pro Victorian Trials, giving one Victorian a spot in the main event at the Rip Curl Pro in both Mens and Womens divisions.

Round 2 – Mornington Peninsula – Cancelled

The Victorian Open Series is presented by Kieser Australia and supported by Cancer Council Sunscreen, Surf Better Now and Surfing Victoria.
