The girls never failed to deliver incredible clips week in and week out, ranging from committed barrels to critical turns and progressive airs. It’s great to see a variety of surfers from the WSL Qualifying Series and Pro Junior Series, as well as up and coming surfers of different ages pushing their limits and submitting clips. The current generation of female surfers are inspiring and the future of women’s surfing in Australia is very bright.”

“Female surfers are pushing boundaries like never before, advancing in technique, ability, and performance with inspiring determination. Hyundai is exceptionally proud of the She’s Electric platform, uncovering talent from all over Australia and helping to provide the exposure and recognition they truly deserve. We can’t wait to watch the action unfold at the Hyundai© High Performance Centre this week and discover who will drive away in the all-new Hyundai© INSTER.”The athletes said they were excited for the camp and committed to supporting each other in achieving their goals.

Piper Harrison said:
“I hope to learn some new skills and spend time with the other girls in and out of the water. I don’t think it gets much better. I’m really grateful that there are opportunities and excitement around women’s surfing and competition. And to have a company like Hyundai on board is epic.”

Willow Hardy said:
“I’m so excited. There were so many incredible clips from all the girls I was stoked to come out in the Top 5. It’s so epic, as you can see all the girls are fully charging from all the clips put out and it’s sick Hyundai and Surfing Australia are backing us.”

India Robinson said:
“I love seeing more opportunities for females, especially in the surfing space. My biggest passion outside of surfing is inspiring and empowering the next generation of females, so I love everything about this. Although not everyone can win, everyone can participate, and that is so important. Building a space for more girls to feel welcome in the surfing community. I’m looking forward to seeing some of the up and coming talent, hopefully, we can all have a good time and showcase some really good surfing.”
