The top first nations surfers from across Australia will return to Wadawurrung Country this month as part of the Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles presented by Rip Curl.
After a 2 year hiatus due to COVID19, the event will return to Bells Beach / Djarrak on Wadawurrung Country bringing together surfers from across the country including Western Australia, Queensland, New South Wales and South Australia.
“We are incredibly proud to be bringing back this event to Djarrak / Bells Beach,” said Adam Robertson, Surfing Victoria CEO.
“The event is more than just a surfing competiton, it is a place for surfers to gather on country and connect with each other after a tough 2 years.”
The event will host divisions including Open Men and Women, Junior Men and Women (U18), Masters (O35), Elders (O50) and Longboard.
Some surfers alrewady confirmed include regining champion Finn Hill, Otis Carey, Robbie Page, Jasmine McCorquodale, Summer Simon and more.
The Open Mens and Womens champion from the event will be granted a wildcard into the Australian Surf Championships in Port Macquarie late this year.
The Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles will be held on May 27-29 at Bells Beach / Djarrak on Wadawurrung Country.

The Australian Indigenous Surfing Titles is presented by Rip Curl and Headsox and supported by the Victorian Government, Surf Coast Events, VicHealth, Surfing Australia, Play it Safe by the Water, Waddawurrung Traditional Owners, Narana Aboriginal Cultural Center, VACSAL, Yakeen Safety, Surfline and Woolworths.
