Selection into all State Representative Teams for all disciplines is by invitation from Surfing Victoria (as per the Surfing Victoria Team Selection Policy). As per previous years, results of State Title events are the key consideration for invitations.

In the instance of a respective series not being completed (i.e only 2 of 3 events completed or only 1 of 2 events completed), those events will be the key consideration for selection of the state team.

In the instance of no events being run in a respective series, results from 2019 will be the key consideration for selection of the state team.

Wildcard applications will be accepted as per normal.

Surfing Victoria will release further information on management of events closer to the event dates including restrictions around onsite spectators, risk management and hygiene.
