Round two of the Victorian Open Series along with the Victorian Masters Titles is set to head to the open beaches of the Mornington Peninsula this weekend.
As they key pathway into the Rip Curl Pro Trials, the Victorian Open Titles is a three-event series that will crown Victorian Open Champions.
The Victorian Masters Titles brings together the pioneers of surfing in Victoria for a single day event with divisions ranging from Over 35 to Over 60.
Surfers to keep an eye on over the weekend in the Opens include former Open Champions Todd Rosewall (Jan Juc) and Sophie Fletcher (Phillip Island) along with former State Junior Champion Codie Jeffery (Phillip Island), Joel Wookey (St Andrews Beach) and Sara Hickson (Rye).
In the Masters, the event draw is littered with talent including former Qualifying Series surfer Adam Leslie (Jan Juc) and Craig Lloyd (Point Cook), along with past champions Mark Walker (Seaford), Rowan Sapwell (Torquay) and Michelle Fincher (Phillip Island).
With a small forecast on the horizon and light winds throughout the weekend there is sure to be plenty of action in the water.
First call for the event will be 8.30am for a 9.00am start at Gunnamatta on both Saturday and Sunday.
