Surfing Victoria seeks expressions of interest for two individuals to join their Finance and Audit Committee (FAC).
The FAC is required to provide recommendations to the Board for approval in regard to:
(a) Financial policies & performance;
(b) Compliance with accounting requirements;
(c) Compliance with statutory requirements;
(d) External Audit requirements;
(e) Income generating and cost saving opportunities;
(f) Budgeting and Reporting;
(g) Financial audit oversight; and
(h) Any other specific financial matters raised by the Board to the FAC to consider.
This is an honorary position and the FAC is scheduled to meet five times a year.
