Surf Coast to host Victorian SUP and Masters Titles this weekend

Victorian State Team positions will be on the line this weekend as the Victorian SUP Surfing Titles and Masters Titles are held on Victoria’s Surf Coast.

The two events are the key selection events for the Victorian State Team with the SUP Team heading to Phillip Island and Masters Team to Port Macquarie later this year.

The Victorian SUP Titles will be held on Saturday at Point Impossible with surfers to watch including multiple Open State Champion Matt Takle (Jan Juc), and Australian Champions Lucy Bell (Sandringham, VIC) and Emma Webb (Jan Juc). 

The event will showcase the top 40 SUP Surfers from across the state at one of the best SUP surfing locations in Australia.

The Victorian Masters Titles will be held on Sunday at Jan Juc brining together over 50 of the pioneers and masters of Victorian surfing.

The division to watch this weekend will be the Over 60 Men with 13 surfers in the draw, igniting old rivalries from the old days. Surfers include Grayme Galbraith (Jan Juc), Grant Price (Lorne), Andrew Dell (St Andrews) and Jamie Reichelt (Balnarring).

First call for the Victorian SUP Titles is on Saturday morning at 9.30am for a 10.00am start at Point Impossible. 

First call for the Victorian Masters Titles is on Sunday morning at 7.15am for a 7.30am start at Jan Juc.
