No TXT No Wrecks Victorian Junior Surfing Titles continues on the Mornington Peninsula this weekend

Jan Juc, VIC/AUS (Sunday 12th January, 2025): The second round of the No TXT No Wrecks Victorian Junior Surfing Titles is set to begin this weekend on the Mornington Peninsula.

Bringing together over 70 of the top up and coming junior surfers from across the state, the event will be held on the Open Beaches of the Mornington Peninsula providing an incredible proving ground for competitors.

Coming in as top seeds in the U18 divisons, Torquay’s Jarvis Barrow and local surfer Ava Holland will be ones to watch and will be looking to cement their spot in the Victorian Junior Team.

“The Mornington Peninsula is a fantastic proving ground for young surfers, and brings out some of the best surfing in our athletes” said Surfing Victoria CEO Adam Robertson.

“Im looking forward to seeing the states best get some great waves and show their talents.”

The event will begin at 7.30am on Saturday with great waves predicted in the morning before onshore winds. The event is expected to finish on Sunday afternoon.

Round 1 – January 11 & 12, 2025 – Bells Beach / Djarrak – COMPLETE
Round 2 – March 29 & 30, 2025 – Gunnamatta
Round 3 – May 10 & 11, 2025 – Phillip Island / Millowl
