Coasting SUP returns for 2022/23 season to teach women and girls Stand Up Paddleboarding

Published on 10/10/2022

Surfing Victoria is proud to announce the continuation of the Coasting SUP program across three locations in Victoria.

The program teaches women and girls how to Stand Up Paddleboard in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.

Locations confirmed for the coming season include Brighton, Mornington and Inverloch.

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a low impact, easy to learn activity that provides the opportunity to get out on the water.

Stand Up Paddle surfboards are much longer and wider than traditional surfboards. This unique design provides more buoyancy allowing you to effortlessly balance and propel yourself along the water with a paddle.

“We are stoked to be continuing this awesome program of teaching SUP to Women and Girls of all ages” said Surfing Victoria CEO Adam Robertson.

“The program has proven to be the perfect way to get on the water that is safe and fun.”

Each session sees you guided step by step by experienced and qualified instructors. By the end of the session you will be well on the way to the developing skills to safely and competently learn how to Stand Up Paddleboard, with maximum time on the water.
