The Victorian Longboard Titles is set to return to Phillip Island in 2022 after a one year hiatus in 2021 and will conclude at the perfect waves at Point Impossible on Victoria’s Surf Coast.
The event is the key pathway to the Australian Longboard Titles held in August each year that sees Victorian Longboarders go up against their interstate counterparts.
Over 80 competitors are expected across both weekends including former Australian Title holders Ben Considine (Barwon Heads), Emma Webb (Torquay), Greg Brown (Jan Juc) and more.
Utilizing the wave rich region at Phillip Island for the opening round, the event primary location will be Cape Woolamai with back venues to include Right Point, Surfies Point, Penguin Parade and Smiths Beach.
“The Victorian Longboard Titles has a rich history of incredible surfers and Victoria has proven itself over the years to be one of the top Longboard states in the country” said Surfing Victoria CEO Adam Robertson.
“I look forward to seeing the best Victorian Longboarders compete in hopefully some incredible waves!”
